I've tried to make their habitats as clear as possible, while still accommodating both wild and modern living!
They're mainly in Europe and North America, but just like house cats, they can adapt to other climates. There are breeds with adaptations just as cats have, however these are not very common.
They are static, with the wild ones mostly living in forests or parks. They don't like moving, so the ones who live in more modern societies almost never move far from home. They often don't enjoy travel, however when they do travel it's common to bring a loved one and/or comfort item.
They can be terrestrial, arboreal, or fossorial! Commonly they spend a lot of time above ground, but sleep in burrows. However, due to their love of climbing (like cats), they also may spend time in trees. Their earlier societies often built huts out of shed fur and mud in trees since they love climbing, and being above the ground provided safety.
